This year, to support JOY Foundation’s 11th Annual “Shop With A Hero” event, we will be doing a Fall-A-Thon.

All of our students actively enrolled in kid’s aiki-jujutsu are invited and encouraged to join us on Saturday, November 14th from 1:00pm to 1:30pm at the Acworth dojo to FALL! These can be rearfalls, backfalls, breakfalls, rolls or somersaults depending on the level of the student. They will be trying to do as many falls as they can during the 30 minute period. We will not be doing regular 12:30 kids class that day, so the kid’s can just have fun with this.

From now until November 14th, students can collect pledges per fall from family, friends and neighbors. Please use the pledge form to list pledge sponsor’s names, phone numbers and email addresses as well as their pledge per roll. Fixed pledge amounts are welcome as well, and anyone who cannot make it on the 14th can still help out with a donation. All money will then be collected after the event and turned in to the Acworth dojo by Saturday November 21st. Checks can be made payable to JOY Foundation, and all donations are tax deductable.
Adult students can help, too! We will need adult volunteers the day of the event, as well as pledge sponsors for our students!

100% of the funds collected will go to support JOY Foundation’s 11th Annual “Shop With A Hero” joyfoundation.org held at the Kohl’s Department store in December. Here, children in need are paired with a Hero: police officer, fireman, military officer, who will assist them in Christmas shopping for their family. In this way, JOY Foundation strives to make the holidays better for families, one child at a time.
